Coronation Eve

I don't have much to say. Things are picking up a bit at the office and I'm occupied with taking some measures to combat referrer spam. Hopefully, that'll be enough distraction from the mind-boggling waste of money that's going on in DC right now. I haven't been following the news very closely this week because I just don't have the stomach for it. The quick peeks I've taken into current events have been discouraging enough. The Democrats are just rolling over on the issue of Condi Rice, who is, at best, a serial obfuscater. Kenneth B. "he's not gay!" Mehlman will replace Ed Gillespie at the top of the GOP, and Bush officially let his wingnut supporters know that the gay-bashing thing was just a cynical effort to get out the hate vote. He wasn't really serious about that FMA thing. On the up side, though, Barack's web site is up.

What in GHOD'S name to those Dems think they are doing? I just got a fundraising letter from the DNC, here is what I replied:

Not an effing chance, until the Dems grow some BALLS and stand up to the Republicans.
I cannot BELIEVE how Kerry et al bent over and said "kick me" re: the Ohio fiasco.

Yes, I gave you guys some hard-earned bucks that I could ill afford. But you know how the old saying goes:

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... can't be fooled again.

You guys are nothing but Republican Lite.

Go fuck yourselves.

It felt reeeealy good to send that, even though no-one will ever read it.
Oh, and I also peeled the damned Kerry/Edwards bumpersticker off the auto. Fuck that.
