Happy Monday! Here's one of the first of my photos from a recent trip to Italy. We started out in Florence, city of narrow streets and passages. We saw relatively few cars and motorcycles there, as the roads were filled with bicycles and scooters. It's a managable-sized city, so we spent most of our time on foot, but I developed a pretty good case of scooter-lust during my stay (which is apparently not an unusual response to the city -- Mark reports returning from Florence with a similar itch, which eventaully led him to his bright orange Vespa).
More later... Have a good week!

I thought the scooters an efficient travel means, sure; but give me the much quieter bicycles any day.
If I were in the uber-bicycle-friendlly city of Florence I would agree, but in a city like Chattanooga, where many of the roads are openlly hostile to bicyclists, I gotta go with the scooter.
