Friday Creature

This is Emer. She owns a friend who lives down the street (she picked him and he eventually gave in). This photo dates back over a year, to when lightning struck a tree in their front yard, cutting the tree in half -- one side went down (taking the power lines with it) and the other stayed stubbornly upright until it was felled a few weeks later.
