Yes it's sad even though I ate there only a few times. It seems their patronage was mainly older folks. All I can really remember about the place was the organ was played so loud you couldn't have a decent conversation.
Thank God you will have another Walgreen's! You can't have too many mega corp clones around. I mean, in Denver you could literally see 2 Starbucks on opposite corners downtown a few years ago.

I'm going to take pictures of as many actually unique businesses as I can, and cherish the sweet memory of such when i'm older, and the only name in town for ANYTHING is Wal-Mart Exxon Mobil.
Thats so sad. As a kid I always enjoyed going over Market Street Bridge just to see the sign with the moving horse. Yeah, the food sucked, but its a landmark.
