Tookie

I was thinking about writing a post about the death penalty, since I, as an American, have just participated in the murder of yet another human being, and by now you all know how I feel about that. But as it turns out, smijer has covered the issues surrounding Tookie's death quite well. What a waste -- of money, of time, of karma, of our nation's moral authority, of the court's time, of man hours, of expertise... for nothing.
