I dunno, I have a hard time w/him choosing Lieberman in 2000 - and losing to the @$$hole in chief. But I guess that someone had to.

Yeah, I agree that, looking back on it, the Lieberman thing was a bad call. But, come on --> Global Warming! Airport Security! Sustainable Development! Port Security! These are words that are on the tips of everyone's tongues lately, and Gore has been studying these issues for much of his adult life! These are hobby horses he's been riding for years. His moment has come.
(And, truth be known, he didn't lose to the @SShole in chief. He just didn't become president.)
