A few people are still churning out the good stuff, but in general, it's gotten very quiet out there on the 'net.
August. A lot of people are off on vacation, or taking in all the sessions at the Yearly Kos, and some folks have just gone mysteriously quiet. It's kind of eerie.

Hang on. It's about to get good.
I am intrigued...
One of the things that foreigners joke about concerning Norway - while it's extremely true - is that if you want a quiet place to go for the summer, visit Norway. During July nearly 60% of the population take to rural cabins or leave the country, and I have often seen fairly large towns and cities stone dead.
It can be a bit unnerving standing on a 'burb street of Oslo during the middle of the day and count less than a handful of cars going by.
