I missed it, so I can't offer any commentary, but if you're interested, here's the transcript. The turnout was good, with Tancredo being the only major candidate skipping the event -- because he doesn't want "to endorse the further Balkanization of American political life."

I missed it too - on purpose. I watched Tom Brokaw's "1968" instead. I do know though (from my morning paper) that the candidates softened their tone on immigration. I guess so since their audience down here is comprised of a lot of people who have immigrated to America.
