Well, he upped his visibility and viability for being picked for something else. I thought him among the best qualified, in terms of broad experience, but he just doesn't have that candidate electricity that draws masses of voters.
Three possibilities of things to which he could be named in the future:
I honestly thought I would be far more impressed with him than I was. In the last debate all his answers seemed awkward and he just never found his footing. It will be interesting to see who he endorses. His ties with the Clintons must make the decision a hard one. Does he go with the seemingly more appealing Obama or does he go with the Clinton machine?
I knew from the get go that he was going to have to drop out...and I think he always did too. Does that constitute an ethical issue regarding his taking money from people? Just wondering.
Well, he made his CHOICE. I'm sure that he wasn't born to lose. I think that he could serve in some official capacity, although I wouldn't consider speachwriter or spokesman as one of his strong area's. Maybe he will have worked his foot out of his mouth by the time this is decided.

Vice President (candidate)
Secretary of State (assuming a Dem wins)
Ambassador to UN (ditto)
On the other hand, he seems to have been a good governor of NM. Also, there is a US Senate race in that state this year.
