Hillary needs cash

In the first big post-super-Tuesday story, we've learned that Billary has had to loan their campaign $5mil and the campaign manager -- or is it the whole staff? -- is not drawing a salary anymore (sound familiar?). Are they worried? Clinton says it's a demonstration of her campaign's commitment.

Wow. I mean, just wow.

Shades of Rudi! (and just when I was starting to think that she would be better re: health care than Obama!)

Never fails. Whoever I root for, loses.

Part of my primary day indecision was that I thought Hillary looked stronger on health care too (see Krugman's NYTimes op-ed piece about this) but then he pointed out that the likelihood her plan would actually pass Congress with any resemblance to its original version was pretty much none.

That was helpful to a point; however is there any guarantee that Obama owuld be anymore successful in negotiating his version of health care through Congress?

On the other hand, if Obama can bring out the Democratic vote to the extent that he has done in the primaries...maybe he will have a real majority to work with.

Trying to think this stuff through just gets more confusing...
