Harvey Korman

Oh, crap. Not another great one.

Harvey Korman died today after a a bit of ill health. Now, I know he was a brilliant comedian in his own right, but what I remember making me laugh the most about his appearances on the Carol Burnett Show were his constant (mostly unsuccessful) efforts to not laugh in the face of Tim Conway's antics. Synchronicity: I had taped an episode of Oprah, because Carol Burnett was on and saw it Thursday. They did show some clips from "The Carol Burnett Show". Burnett said that it was Tim Conway's goal in life to make Harvey Korman crack up during the skits, and it got to the point that all Tim had to do was look at Harvey. Your video clip demonstrated that perfectly.

This is indeed sad news but at least he had a good, long run. Even if it was off Broadway. :-)
