- Last night, AAA's national gas price average reached $4 a gallon for the first time in history.
- Last month, unemployment saw its biggest increase since 1986 (that jump was under Reagan).
- On Friday, the Dow was down 400 and oil prices had the largest single day jump ever -- to nearly $140 a barrel. Volatility is expected to continue indefinitely (or at least through January 20th, anyway)
- We have no idea when or where the real estate market might hit bottom (thanks for that go, in part, to John "I love lobbyists!" McCain's campaign co-chair).
