Thanks, Ken! I hope there will be more where that came from soon!
Keera, I think there's more than a bit of my mother in Emmie, but it's hard for me to put my finger on where. I suspect that all three of us share a cheekbones/face-shape/long chin thing.
Getting beyond the physical, Emmie definitely owns her grandmother's sense of adventure, too! ;-)
I wish I could enlarge the image as well -- I was actually a bit disappointed in the way it turned out from a technical standpoint (it's a bit fuzzy), but it is just a snapshot of a photo (and I do so love the composition of the original!). I'm about to embark on a photo archiving project that will produce much better results, though, as I'll be scanning from the negatives, so I'll be able to reprocess some old photos from scratch. If I can get my hands on the negative from this image, I'll let you know...

Am I just imagining things, or do I see a bit of your mother in Emmie?
There are times when I wish one could enlarge your photos and this is one of them.

I had to ask because I don't really see your mother in you, but with this photo, I saw her in Emmie.
It's a delightful photo, with so much story in the details: A backyard, a woman, a birdbath, a magazine, summer clothes, a neighborhood.
Yes, a very interesting setting with some engaging details. I found myself going back to it several times that day, taking it all in.
I don't know who this is but she is very beautiful :)
Thanks, Beep. She's my mom, back when she was a single girl. :-D
