Four years ago today was our first night in this house. The time has sped by at an alarming rate -- a blink of an eye, really -- but it also feels like we've always been here. I'm not an easily domesticated creature, but this place just might get me to settle down and dial back the wanderlust. Here's a recent peek out the back door:

What a lovely autumn you're (still) having! Happy anniversary!
The view has changed dramatically in the past few days! Yesterday morning, it started raining here and it continued raining (sometimes quite hard!) until lunch time today. Now the sun is out, but the wind is blowing like crazy! As a result, there are pretty much no leaves left in that tree and all those beautiful colors have been moved to the ground and turned soggy...
