New Years Food Porn

Happy New Year, everyone! I got to spend the afternoon cooking today (G-Dog got the kitchen yesterday, and made his legendary nouvelle année gumbo!) and I went with Southern tradition:

Cook up a bit of kale...

... mix it with some black eye peas and rice...

... put some citrus collard greens with raisins on the side (for extra prosperity?)...

... and you have a classic Southern winter meal for 1/1/11!!
