The Waybacks Return to Chattanooga

It's been a while, but I got to see the Waybacks last night, for the first time since they were in Chattanooga for Nightfall two years ago.

It was a great show -- a little on the short side, since they were sharing the bill with five other bands, but definitely a lot of fun with some good jammin' (the food was yummy too!).

The Waybacks at Nightfall

With Riverbend over for another year, we returned last night to my favorite part of Chattanooga summers, the Nightfall Concert Series, which featured the Waybacks this week. Before the show, I went out to eat with friends at Cibo's and we were joined by James Nash, the band's lead guitarist. He's a witty and smart guy who charmed us all at dinner and then later blew me away with his jammin' goodness (Joe has since posted a review of the performance). Here are a few photos from the show (also note the awesome new Nightfall logo, brought to you by none other than our very own Mark).
