I dunno -- in the past he's supported Democrats, and I don't know if Batman would switch parties just to support the hometown candidate. Plus, the closest thing NYC has to superheroes, the firefighters, hate Rudy Giuliani, and I suspect that Batman would align himself with the first responders.
It's an interesting question, though. Surely Bibleman supports Huckabee, and Wonder Woman is probabaly in the Clinton camp, but what of The Phantom? The Green Lantern?
I suspect that Captain America is still rooting for Al Gore to pull a convention coup... ;-D
Captain America would be for John McCain all the way in a show of support for someone from the armed forces. =)
Interestingly, the only actual in-comics politician-superhero alliance I can think of is... Superman in Dark Knight Returns. And in THAT, Superman was supporter (although really more of a pawn) of a Reaganesque president.
Since when did Americans start deferring to illegal aliens (Superman was born on Krypton) on political matters? Ask yourselves, "Do we want a President who's basically a Kryptonian stooge?"

I'll take John Mellencamp over Superman any day of the week (sorry Seinfeld)...
But I'm still not swayed to the Edwards camp...
Wow, first Oprah, now Superman. Who's next?
(well, *I* like Obama too, but I'm not a superhero like Oprah or Superman)
I bet Batman would support Rudy Giuliani.

You're right, my bad. I was thinking of Captain Planet, but I wrote Captain America. Whoops.
I think The Shadow would be for Edwards...
