McCain's people are so calculating, they know they've got enough votes to win the nomination so they drop this into the media now, so it will be old news by the time the election rolls around. And then they can act righteously indignation that someone would bring it up later. It's Bush's cocaine habit and going AWOL from the military all over again. The corporate media just loves to help out the GOP any chance they get. This won't even get more than a few seconds a play and then they'll shut it down.
I like this quote from his friend,"He is essentially an honorable person". I translate this article to say: this guy is unethical and inconsistent in what he says and what he does, but he's really too stupid to realize the inconsistencies, so therefore he is really honest at heart.
