It's been more than 36 hours since gay couples started getting married in California on Monday and last time I checked, the world has not come to an end (if it had, surely CNN would have sent me a breaking news alert, right?). Further, when I woke up this morning, there was Dear Hubby, and near as I can tell, we're still married (if my marriage was destroyed by all the gay weddings, I would be the first to know, wouldn't I?). So, I'm sure all the wingnuts are breathing a big, collective sigh of relief -- all that hysterical shrieking about the end of marriage, and in the end, their frantic prophecies and dire warnings rivaled the Y2K scare in terms of being a non-event.
