That was my last visit to the island during my January trip. It was windy (which you can see off in the distance) but still warm, and the sand was so unbelievably soft and fluffy! I didn't want to leave and knew that the breeze would erase my footprints pretty quickly after I was gone -- which made me kind of sad, so I snapped the picture as a way of preserving my presence on the beach. Surely, it misses me...

Looks almost like snow! And it looks very much like a place I'd like to leave some of my footprints on.
i thought it was snow at first too. any day would get better walking along that beach.

I think, if I were a beach, I would be honored to be thought of the way you think of this one. So yes, I'd miss you. :-)
