Be gay today!

Today is Coming Out Day. I hope that whoever you are, you are among people who love you for who you are. If you're not sure, today might be a good opportunity to stick your toe in the water. I know we, as  a society, have a long way to go when it comes to embracing everyone without condition, but great strides have been made and we're still moving.

Be who you are. If the people who surround you can't accept that person, go find some people who can. Come out. Be real. Be happy. Please, let us have the real you. You are loved, even if you don't feel it yet.

UPDATE (oct12): Frank Kameny, the Gay is Good Activist, died at 86, on Coming Out Day.
